Ahh, potty training. It was the best of times; it was the worst of times! Actually it hasn't been THAT bad. We started you over Labor Day weekend. We bought you big boy underwear, a potty seat, books and stickers. So you were equipped with all of the necessities. And you've done pretty well so far. The first day was a little tricky. Score - Potty: 4; Couch/Floor: 4. The second day I think you just had one or two accidents. The hardest part has been getting you to tell us when you need to go. When we started we were taking you every hour or so whether you needed to go or not. Now we're trying to rely on you to tell us when you need to go. You've actually done pretty well with that, except for when you need to poop. Pooping is a whole other story. You just do not want to poop in the potty. I've heard this is a normal issue for all kids, so I'm holding out hope that it will get better. I even had you go with me when I had to go the bathroom. I had you look at it and everything (totally gross!). As soon as I finished, you started clapping and said "Great job Mommy!" How precious are you?!?!
Last weekend we went to the Greek Festival with Emme and Papa. Abigail was there too, so you guys got play together!

You also had your first visit to a port-a-potty! So proud :)!
Then we went to see Thomas the Train! You got to ride the train. I was petrified that you were going to have an accident on the train, but you did great. Of course, as we were standing in line to go on the train, you told me you had to go potty, so we hightailed it to another port-a-potty!
We'll be doing lots of fall activities, so I'll have lots more to share soon! Until then, Kiss Kiss from Mommy!
